REDDING, Calif.—Monday, July 18, Members 1st Credit Union unveiled its new website featuring a fresh modern look, improved functionality, enhanced content, and more intuitive navigation than its predecessor. The website was developed internally thanks to a talented team from the credit union’s Information Technology, Marketing, and Auditing departments. Visitors to the credit union’s website will find a clean and simple design where the most requested information is visible on every page at all times, including links to Online Banking, ATM/branch finder, and technical support.

“We wanted to place an emphasis on educating members and potential members about the credit union, its benefits, and their eligibility to join” said Josh Markle, VP Marketing. “Equally important was an intuitive design and easy access to member support, while being built on an encrypted and secure framework.”

The new website is built with a responsive design, allowing users to view the website from any device. The Online Banking login menu was simplified and enhanced with the addition of financial blog posts. Content is displayed near the Online Banking login entry and site’s homepage to keep members informed of current events, budgeting tips, fraud warnings, and other credit union notifications. Members can browse exclusive credit union member discounts, the credit union’s community involvement efforts, financial education opportunities, and information about the credit union’s products and services.

Members 1st Credit Union President and CEO, Teri Vanderpol said, “We have completely transformed the website content, graphics, and navigation to allow for a more user-friendly and efficient online and mobile experience.” Vanderpol continued, “The new site is more intuitive for our online visitors and will appeal to both existing and potential members.”

Members are also encouraged to download the free Members 1st Credit Union mobile banking app for Android and iPhone. The new site is available at the credit union’s web address, MembersOnline.org.
