The North State community has made their voice heard for the fifth consecutive year, choosing Members 1st Credit Union as the Record Searchlight's 2020 Best Bank/Credit Union of the North State. The awards are given to businesses and organizations in the North State who have earned the most votes in their category, as voted on by locals. These categories range from Best Restaurant to Best School.

For the second year in a row, the categories for Best Bank and Best Credit Union were combined to form one category, broadening the pool of competition to include mid-sized community banks and large corporate banks. However, credit union supporters still prevailed, voting Members 1st the best above national and community banks that serve the North State. Members 1st credits this accomplishment to its talented staff and dedicated members that continue to serve our community through all of this year's unique challenges.

"We are both humbled and excited to be voted the best five years in a row,” said Teri Davis, President, and CEO of Members 1st Credit Union. “We’d like to thank all of our supporters and congratulate the other category winners of the 2020 Best of the North State competition,” said Davis.

In previous years, Members 1st has celebrated this award by providing free lunch to its staff and free gifts to its members to recognize the accomplishment. This year will be no different, as the credit union is preparing plans to celebrate with both staff and members in the coming weeks.

Members 1st continues to grow and expand services in the North State by providing the most convenient banking possible to the communities it serves.
